JCSU goes 8-0 in school history, beats Rams, 24-15

Box Score Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University goes 8-0 for the first time in school history after defeating the Rams of Winston-Salem State University, 24-15 at Bowman Gray Stadium. The last time the Golden Bulls defeated the Rams in Winston-Salem was in 1975, which also the win ties the record of eight from 1975.

  • Johnson C. Smith maintained their unbeaten record, improving to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play.
  • Kamarr Edmonds was a standout performer for JCSU, scoring both a rushing and a receiving touchdown.
  • Winston-Salem State fought back in the second half, with a notable interception return for a touchdown by Narique Smith and a late touchdown pass from Daylin Lee to Kaleb Washington.
