UNC takes down Golden Bulls, 127-63 in exhibition

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University took on the ninth ranked team in the nation the University of North Carolina but fell by the hands of the Tar Heels by a margin of 127-63 on Sunday afternoon inside the Dean Dome.

Ashton Sherrell led the Golden Bulls in scoring with 16 points off of 5-for-10 shooting from the floor, including 3-for-6 from the three-point line and 1-for-2 from the foul line. Asa White added 14 points off the bench for JCSU.
 
The Golden Bulls were out rebounded by the Tar Heels 54-24. The Golden Bulls shot 36.2 percent (25-for-69) from the floor and 55.6 percent (5-for-9) from the charity stripe. 

JCSU will return to action on Oct. 29 as the Golden Bulls will take on former Division II opponent Queens (N.C.) Tip-off is set for 7p.m.
