Five game win streak snapped, falling 73-67 to Allen

CHARLOTTE  - Johnson C. Smith University men's basketball team five game win streak was snapped as Allen University defeated the Golden Bull 73-67 on Wednesday evening. With the loss, JCSU stands 5-3 on the season and Allen is 2-4 overall. 

Javon Anderson led the Golden Bulls in scoring with 23 points off of 9-for-14 shooting from the floor, including 4-for-9 from the three-point line and 1-for-2 from the foul line. Asa White added 11 points on the night and grabbed 12 rebounds.
 
For the contest, JCSU came in averaging over 35 boards per outing; however, the Golden Bulls out rebounded by the Yellow Jackets 31-21. The Golden Bulls shot 52.1 percent (26-for-50) from the floor and 66.7 percent (22-for-29) from the charity stripe. 

Up next the Golden Bulls will host Lincoln (Pa.) on Monday at 1 p.m. for Education Day.
