Charlotte –– The Johnson C. Smith University women's tennis team dropped their home match versus Coker Cobras 7-0, on Sunday afternoon.
The Golden Bulls fell early losing the doubles point with one a forfeit and falling in straight sets in the singles match. Four of the Golden Bulls won a game or more in their sets.
The men's tennis team fell to the North Carolina Central University on Saturday and Coker University on Sunday. Against NCCU, the No. 3 singles
Mlungisi Mhlanga won a set but fell 2-1.
On Sunday, Golden Bulls had to forfeit third doubles along with five and six singles, giving the Cobras a 2-0 lead. The Golden Bulls fell in straight sets in the singles one, two and three.
