CHARLOTTE – The Johnson C. Smith University men's and women's basketball teams are set to host I-85 rival Livingstone College on Wednesday, February 21, inside historic Jack S. Brayboy Gymnasium which is anticipated be a sold-out event.
 
Tip-off for the women is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., followed by the men. The game will be broadcast live on the JCSU Golden Bulls Network.  

Both teams need to stay above .500 with one game remaining in the regular season.
 
The women are 12-11 overall and hold a 9-7 conference record and 6-4 in the division. Livingstone comes into today's game with a 5-15 record and is 3-13 in conference play and 2-8 in the division.
 
The Blue Bears comes to Brayboy Gym after losing to Fayetteville State 75-50 on Saturday. The Blue Bears are 12-13, 8-8 and 5-5 in the division.
 
The Golden Bulls are two wins away to give Stephen Joyner, Sr., his overall 600^th career win. As of now he ranks third in most wins all time in the CIAA coaching ranks. The men are currently 12-11 overall and 7-9 in the league and 3-7 in the division.
