JCSU Travels to Fayetteville State

CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith University men's and women's basketball team will visit the Broncos of Fayetteville State University in a pivotal CIAA Southern Division match up on Thursday, Feb. 8 inside Felton J. Capel Arena. The women will tip-off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men.

The doubleheader will be streamed live on the FSU Broncos Sports Network.

The Broncos, are currently 18-2 overall, 12-1 in conference play and 6-1 in the Southern Division. The Broncos are ranked #18th in the D2CSC Top 25 poll as well as ranked #2 D2CSC Atlantic Regional Poll, and looking to revenge their lone conference loss against the Golden Bulls.

JCSU is currently in third in the Southern Division with a 5-1 record. The Golden Bulls are 8-4 in conference play. JCSU defeated FSU earlier this season 63-53.

The Bronco men are (13-10 overall, 8-5 CIAA) and is 4-0 at-home.

JCSU (11-9 overall, 6-7 CIAA) fell to Winston-Salem State, 77-52. The Golden Bulls' 52 points is the lowest points scored this season. FSU won their first matchup against JCSU this season, 70-57.  
Both teams are coming off a week-long break.
