CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Johnson C. Smith University women's tennis team defeated the Rams of Winston-Salem State University 4-3, on Saturday afternoon.  

JCSU earned their first point in doubles, as Ragins/Hewett defeated Moore /Nickens as well as Ramos/Bligen defeated Higins/Drew. 

In No. 1 Singles Semmie Moore defeated Kyndall Ragins, 6-1, 6-0. 

In the No. 2 singles Maykayla Ramos won 6-2, 6-0, No. 3 Auset Bligen won 6-2 6-0 and the No. 4 singles Sanaa Hewitt won 6-1, 6-2. 

WSSU won the No. 5 and No. 6 won by default. 

JCSU won three sets to earn the 4-3 victory.
