CHARLOTTE – Two Golden Bulls went yard as Johnson C. Smith University trounced NAIA opponent Morris College 16-1 and 25-0 in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon, at Biddleville Park.
Moya Jones and
Tekiya Garr-Carter both hit over the fence in left field for the Golden Bulls as
Jasmine Hogan had an inside the park homer.
The Golden Bulls scored the most runs this season of 16 and 25 and well as a shutout.
Every player on the team either got a hit and scored a run on the day.
Up next the Golden Bulls will return to conference play to host the Rams of Winston-State on Friday, April 12. The Doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. Then on Saturday April 13, will be the last regular home game for the Golden Bulls as they will take on the Broncos of Fayetteville State, It is also Senior Day as JCSU will honor five seniors.
