CHARLOTTE- It was an all-around team effort for the Johnson C. Smith University women's tennis team as the Golden Bulls claimed a 4-2 and 6-1 victory against Livingstone College Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Bulls improve to 8-5 on the year and 5-1 against conference opponents.
Maykayla Ramos and
Shay'Tonya Missick won their No. 2 doubles.
JCSU wrapped up the match by winning all five singles courts, highlighted by 6-0, 6-0 victories from Ramos, and Hewett.
Auset Bligen claimed her victory in a 6-1, 6-0 decision and
Kyndall Ragins earned her win by scores of 7-5, 6-2.

In the second game, Ragins and Hewett won their No. 2 doubles 6-2 as well as Ramos and Missick 6-0.

In singles, Ramos and Hewett won straight sets 6-0, 6-0. Bligen won 6-1, 6-0 and Missick won 6-2, 6-2. Ragins won her match by winning the first set 7-5 and the second set was called due to injury.Â
