JCSU FOOTBALL TO HOST FROSTBURG STATE IN NCAA SUPER REGION ONE PLAYOFFS

INDIANAPOLIS--The NCAA Division II Football Committee announced today the field of 32 teams for the 2025 NCAA Division II Football Championship. The newly crown 2025 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Champions, Johnson C. Smith University, earned the second seed in Super Region One for the first time ever in school history.

The Golden Bulls (10-1) will host Frostburg State (9-2) from the Mountain East Conference on Saturday, November 22 on Eddie McGirt Field at the Irwin Belk Complex. The first-round matchup is set for 1 p.m.

Frostburg State University earned their Mountain East Conference Champions title with a 35-18 victory over Fairmont State in their regular season finale on Saturday.

By winning the CIAA crown, JCSU earned an automatic berth in the NCAA Division II playoffs. They set a new school record with 10 wins in a season
