WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The JCSU women turned in an outstanding meet highlighted by event victories in the 60m, 200m, and 400m, along with multiple top-three finishes in both the sprints and jumps. With freshmen leading the charge across every event group, the future looks extremely bright for the Golden Bulls.

60 Meters
Freshman
Jaeda Davis surged to victory in the 60m, winning the event in 7.74, while fellow freshman
Skye Spencer-Layne claimed 3rd with 7.98. Both athletes posted identical results in Section 1.
200 Meters
The Golden Bulls swept the top of the leaderboard in the 200m, with freshman
Janya Barnes capturing the event title in 25.08.
Teammates followed closely:

Paris Brown: 25.79
Sections 1–3 reflected the same placements, highlighting a dominant team performance.
400 Meters
Barnes returned in strong form, winning the 400m in 58.74, with freshman
Paris Brown finishing right behind her in 59.41 to secure a 1–2 sweep for JCSU.

Skye Spencer-Layne added another podium finish, placing 2nd with a time of 9.04.

Sahlay Reid cleared 1.45m (4'9") to take 3rd place. Teammate
Olivia Capers recorded no height despite solid attempts.

The Golden Bulls earned two top-three finishes:

Olivia Capers placed 7th with a best of 4.51m.

Both Reid and Capers recorded no marks (NM) after difficult series.

Alesia Sylverain delivered a strong showing, placing 4th with a mark of 11.48m (37' 8"), improving steadily through her series.
