CIAA Announces 2025 Preseason Tennis Predicted Order of Finish

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announces the 2025 All-CIAA preseason tennis team, as voted on by the CIAA Sports Information Directors Association.

Shaw and Virginia State top the preseason team with three student-athletes from each school, including last year's Player of the Year, Anja Antonijevic from Shaw University, and reigning Rookie of the Year, Serena Teluwo, also from Shaw University.
 
Shaw University, who claimed their sixth-consecutive title last season tops this season's predicted order of finish. Behind them is Bluefield State, who entered last season's tournament as the top seed in the Northern Division, but were upset by Livingstone in the opening round. Virginia State went 7-4 in conference play last season, and round out the top-three.

This year's championship will take place April 25-26 on the campus of Virginia State University in Ettrick, VA.
