JCSU MBB advances to the CIAA Quarterfinals

BALTIMORE, MD - In the opening round of the 2025 CIAA Basketball Men's Basketball Tournament, the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University defeated Elizabeth City State University, 83-75.

The Vikings were hot out the gate and took a two-point lead heading into the break, but efficient shooting combined with a strong second-half defensive performance propelled JCSU to the next round of the tournament, as they face off with Bluefield State University in the quarterfinals. 

Tip off will be Thursday Feb. 27 at 2:00 P.M.
