CHARLOTTE – The Johnson C. Smith University Golden Bulls Men's and Women's Basketball teams is participation in the inaugural Black College Invitational Championship, taking place March 20-22, 2025, at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina. This historic postseason tournament will bring together teams from two Division II HBCU conferences to compete for the title of Black College Champion.
 
The JCSU women will play the Blue Bears of Livingstone College at 6:00 p.m. and the JCSU men will tip off at 8:00 p.m., against the Panthers of Virginia Union University.

Games will begin at 12 noon as the women of Clark Atlanta University out of the SIAC will take on the Panthers of  Virginia Union University (CIAA). The 2:00 p.m., men's game will feature the Marauders of Central State University out of Wilberforce, Ohio (SIAC) will take on CIAA foe the Panthers of Claflin University.
