Box Score RALEIGH, N.C. — Johnson C. Smith University men's basketball put together one of its strongest offensive outings of the season, but a late push by Shaw handed the Golden Bulls an 80-76 loss on Wednesday night in Spaulding Gymnasium.
JCSU shot 47.4% from the field and posted 38 first half points, but Shaw countered with 42 before the break and held the lead for more than 29 minutes. The Golden Bulls tied the game five times and led twice, including a five-point advantage early in the first half, but could not reclaim control down the stretch.

Jamauri Bryant powered the Golden Bulls with a team‑high 21 points on 7‑of‑12 shooting. He added seven rebounds and went a perfect 7‑for‑7 at the free‑throw line.
Jared Davis added 13 points and five rebounds, shooting 6‑for‑11 from the floor.
JCSU finished 15‑for‑18 at the free‑throw line (83.3%) and totaled 35 rebounds
Shaw was led by Dreveon Scott, who scored 24 points on 10‑of‑13 shooting. Avery Huggins added 23 points and nine rebounds.
