Softball went 0-6 in CIAA Roundup

CHARLOTTE – The Johnson C. Smith University softball team went 0-6 in the annual CIAA Softball roundup at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Golden Bulls faced the Lions of Lincoln (Pa.) falling 12-11, after being down 11-3 in the third inning, and then JCSU losing to Virginia Union 16-8. On Saturday JCSU fell to Elizabeth City State, 7-1 and Virginia State, 8-0 in five innings.

On the final day of roundup Bowie State defeated JCSU, 12-5 and the Golden Bulls fell to Bluefield State 5-4.
