Petersburg, Va - The Johnson C. Smith University men's track & field team delivered a strong all-around performance, finishing as meet runner-up behind a balanced effort across sprints, hurdles, relays, and field events. The squad was powered by five event victories and numerous scoring performances that kept them in contention throughout the competition.

Freshman Divine Gee led the way with a dominant win in the triple jump (14.78m) and added a runner-up finish in the pole vault, accounting for a significant point total. Princewell Martin also captured gold in the 400m hurdles (52.74), while contributing to the team's scoring depth alongside Amontae Wray in the same event.

On the track, junior Caleb Baxter was instrumental, placing second in the 400m (47.80) and adding points in the 200m. He also played a key role on both scoring relay squads. Nicholas Francis added a runner up finish in the 100m (10.49) and contributed additional points in the 200m.

The jumps group added critical points, highlighted by Jordae Wilson's second place finish in the triple jump and Jameir Legette's runner up performance in the high jump. Terrence McCutcheon added a third place finish in the triple jump, further strengthening the team's field event scoring.

Additional contributions came from Tyvion Williams in the 800m, Wray and Kobe Mack in the 110m hurdles, and Anthony Chatman in the discus. The 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams each secured third place finishes to round out the scoring.
