2007 (R-Freshman): Saw action in 8 games...played sparingly on offense at every position...had 13 carries for 33 yards...one reception for 6 yards...three pass attempts for 34 yards.

High School/Personal: Played at Fitzgerald high school under coach Pruitt...team went 11-2 and were named regional champions... holds the record for most wins as a quarterback (27)...led his team to two regional championships (2004, 2005)...named Honorable Mention two consecutive years... was a member of the FBLA and the choir...chose JCSU because of the great family atmosphere and the city of Charlotte...enjoys jogging and swimming, learning about health and playing games...majoring in community health...full name Joshua Leon Battle...son of Donald Battle and Sandra Meals...born 10-24-87.
