High School/Personal: Attended Southwest Onslow High School under Coach Padgett and won the 2005 Conference and District Championships...received Most Improved award for Track, 100 Hurdles Conference Championship, 4 x100, Coaches Award, All-Conference Football, Most Improved, and All-Team Basketball...in the 10th grade he recorded 28 tackles, 1 FF, and 212 rushing yards; in the 11th grade he had 80 tackles, 3 FF, 3 interceptions, and 4 rushing touch downs; he had 92 tackles, 4 FF, 3 interceptions, 836 rushing yards, and 8 touch downs...he was an honor student from the 10th grade until the 12th...was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the French Club...did community service and volunteer work with the Christmas Cheer...held a part-time job at Chuck-E-Cheese...aspires to a sportscaster...credits his family and God as being the biggest influences on his life because they make him stronger...chose JCSU because of academics and it felt like home...he is the son of Illya Burke and Felesia Burke...born 3-24-89.
