Biography

Rodrick Robinson returns for his ninth season (third stint) as an assistant coach for the Golden Bulls. He rejoins the staff as the tight ends coach after serving as the offensive coordinator at Cheyney State University (2006). Prior to leaving, Robinson served three years as the Offensive Line Coach (2003-2005) and four years as the Receiver/Tight End Coach (1998-2001). While a student assistant coach, he aided the offensive line and helped with the development of the tight ends. Coach Robinson began his ties with JCSU in 1996 when he transferred from Arizona Western College. At AWC, he played the tight end position and was selected to the All-American Team. As a transfer to the Golden Bulls, Robinson had an enormous impact. Selected to theAll-CIAA team, Robinson was captain of the 1996 squad which finished with a 7-3 overall record. The Atlanta, Ga. native received his bachelor of science degree in physical education from JCSU in 1999 and serves as a program manager for Lutheran Family Services.
