Trevin Parks, a native of Hickory, North Carolina, attended Hickory High School and graduated in the class of 2009. He excelled as a player for the Red Tornadoes for three seasons, earning the title of Conference Player of the Year during his junior and senior years.Â

Beginning his college career at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Trevin later transferred to Johnson C. Smith University, where he continued to showcase his exceptional talent for three seasons. He made history at JCSU by becoming the first player to be named Conference Player of the Year and a three-time All-American. Trevin holds the record for career points per game at Johnson C. Smith University with an average of 24ppg. Additionally, he ranks fifth in total points in school history after playing 2 1/2 to 3 seasons in a Golden Bulls uniform.Â

Graduating from Johnson C. Smith University in 2013 with a degree in Sport Management, Coach Parks went on to play professionally for 11 seasons, including two years in the NBA G League and stints in nine different countries. With a passion for coaching and a deep understanding of the game, Trevin now serves as the Head Player Development Coach at JCSU.Â

In his first season as a coach, he played a significant role in recruiting Ezekiel Cannedy, who was named Conference Rookie of the Year in the CIAA. Coach Parks is enthusiastic about continuing his coaching career at JCSU and is dedicated to the success of the Golden Bulls.Â
