Roddric Ross scored a game high 28 points but it wasn't enough to push the Golden Bulls past Livingstone, Saturday afternoon in New Trent Gym in Salisbury.
Cayse Minor added 16 points to the Golden Bull effort as JCSU fell to the Blue Bears, 85-75.
Although JCSU improved on its overall second half performance from its game against St. Augustine's earlier, the Golden Bull bench was outscored, 40-13 by the Blue Bears during the game. Â Ross and Minor scored 21 of JCSU's 38 points in the second half.
JCSU led by as many as six points early in the second half but Livingstone regrouped and took back the lead at the 12:15 mark and pulled away for the win.

Roger Ray led four Livingstone players in double-digits, finishing with 21 points. Elmore added 17 for the Blue Bears while Martel Handley finished with 12. Damante' McNeill also added 11. Â Both Ray and Elmore had double-doubles, with Elmore hauling in 10 rebounds and Ray dishing out 13 assists.
The loss drops JCSU to 3-11 overall, 1-7 in CIAA play and 0-2 in Southern Division play while Livingstone improves to 12-6, 5-4 in the CIAA and 3-0 in the division.
The Golden Bulls return to action Monday night inside Brayboy Gymnasium when they host Claflin University. Â Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m.
