JCSU Volleyball concludes regular season

Charlotte,N.C. – Two Golden Bulls  recorded eight  kills apiece as the Johnson C. Smith University women's volleyball team (9-11, 8-9 CIAA, 5-7 Southern Division) fell to the Broncos of Fayetteville State (16-6, 16-1 CIAA, 11-1 Division) on Thursday evening in Capel Arena.

Of the two players that charted eight kills each in the match was Taylor Smith and Gabrielle Wells. Smith had two block for the night

Elyse Bonnett dished out a match-high 15 assists while Joi Haywood tallied a match-high 20 digs.

The Golden Bulls will now await the seeding announcement from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) for the 2018 Volleyball Championships to be held in Petersburg, Va.
