JCSU volleyball season has ended

ETTRICK, VA - The Golden Bulls volleyball team falls to the Trojans of the Virginia State University, 3-0, on Tuesday night. The Trojans advanced to the semifinals of the CIAA Volleyball Championship.

The season has ended for the Golden Bulls season with a 9-12 overall record, 8-10 in the CIAA.  VSU is now 16-10 overall record, 13-3 in the conference.

Gabrielle Wells led JCSU four kills, while Elyse Bonnett tallied 10 assists. Joi Haywood led the team with 12 digs, while Cydney Calhoun followed close with seven digs.

The Trojans have punched their ticket to the 2019 CIAA Volleyball Championship Semifinals in Salem, VA.  On November 22, VSU will face the Bears of Shaw University at 5pm at the Salem Civic Center.
