The Johnson C. Smith softball team lost two games to UNC Pembroke Wednesday (April 7) afternoon at Biddleville Park..
In both games JCSU scored first, then relinquished the lead.
In game one, the Golden Bbulls took a two-run lead in the bottom of the second when
Paige Brockington singled, knocking home
Sanae Nakoa and
Alexis D'Louhy.
UNCP stormed back to tie the game in the top of the third and held JCSU to just three hits in the remaining four innings.
The Braves' bats woke up with six runs on 10 hits to secure the 8-2 win.
The second game was much like the first with the Golden Bulls taking an early lead (4-0) only to find UNCP staging a comback.
JCSU' s 4-0 lead in the first was extinguished by 12 Brave runs on the third and fifth innings.
With the loss, JCSU falls to 12-12 on the season while UNC Pembroke improves to 21-23
