The Johnson C. Smith Women's Tennis team easily advanced in the CIAA Champtionship Tournament , defeating Virginia Union 4-0 in a rain delayed match Friday morning.

JCSU won the doubles' point with Halle Parker and Jada Strickland defeated VUU's Sabrina Connor and Michaela Mondesir 6-1.  

Cierra Turner and Aria Stringfield  completed the sweep with a 6-0 win over Alyssa White and Jordan Parker.

Halle Parker picked up another point when she defeated Sabrina Conner 6-0, 6-0

Nija Price added to the ledger with a 6-1, 6-1 defeat of Michaela Mondesir.

Jada Strickland closed out the match with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Alyssa White

The Golden Bulls advance to face Virginia Stata at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the semifinal round of the tourney.
