JCSU downs St. Aug in OT 73-68

RALEIGH, N.C.  - The Johnson C. Smith University men's basketball team took an extra five minutes to claim a 73-68 overtime win against the Falcons of Saint Augustine's University on Monday evening. 

The Golden Bulls had three players finish in double figure scoring led by senior Nenad Milenkovic who recorded 19 points, three rebounds and three assists. Chaz Gwen went 4-7 from behind the arc to tally 14 points. 

JCSU was down as many as 10 points in the first half, as the Falcons took a 35-29 lead at halftime. 

The Falcons tied the game with less than 14 seconds to send the game into overtime. 

With less than :7 sec left in OT, the Falcons turned the ball over and  Gwen scooped it up and drove to the basket as time ran out. 

The win improves Smith to 13-5 overall, 7-3 in the CIAA and 4-1 in the Southern Division
