JCSU volleyball defeats Livingstone, 3-1

CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith University women's volleyball team earned a 3-1 victory over Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Conference (CIAA) foe Livingstone College inside New Trent Gym on Thursday night.
 
JCSU defeated LC by the scores of 25-13, 18-25, 25-16 and 26-24 The victory improves the Golden Bulls record to 17-7 overall, 13-1 in the conference and 7-1 within the Southern Division.
 
With the loss, Livingstone falls to 2-15 overall, 0-15 in the conference and 0-9 in the south.
 
Daivez Bell recorded a game-high nine kills and four blocks while Kerstine Curtis tallied eight kills four blocks. Jada Berry dished out a match-high 22 assists while Monique Reid collected 17 digs in the win.
