JCSU volleyball gears up for CIAA play

CHARLOTTE  – The Johnson C. Smith University women's volleyball team will begin conference play and will to travel to Raleigh, NC to face Southern Division opponent the Lady Falcons of Saint Augustine's University on Tuesday, September 21 inside the Emery Gymnasium.
 
First serve is slated for 6 p.m.
 
The Lady Bears are coming off a 0-4 setback while participating in the North Greenville Tournament.

Brianna Davis leads the team with 24 kills.
 
Defensively, Jeneene Lewis totaled 57 digs and Monique Reid totaled 35 digs.
