FOOD LION MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
#5 Ezekiel Cannedy, Johnson C. Smith

Ezekiel Cannedy averaged 19 points, 4 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and two assists in two games last week for the Golden Bulls. The freshman shot 46 percent from the field and 42 percent from three. The Kings Mountain, NC native had 22 points, five rebounds, and a team-high five assists in the 100-95 win over future conference opponent Bluefield State. The guard shot 7-of-12 from the field, including five-of-eight from behind the arc. In a close 68-66 loss to Bowie State in conference play, Cannedy scored a team-high 16 points with three rebounds and three steals.

(Fr., 6-1 Forward - Coppell, TX)
India Howard tallied 13 rebounds, 8 points, and three blocks in the lone game last week for the Golden Bulls. The 13 boards, including nine offensive rebounds and three blocks were a game-high.
