CHARLOTTE - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announces the 2021-22 Men's Basketball All-CIAA team, All-Rookie team, and superlatives as selected by the Men's and Women's Basketball Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association.

Augustine Ominu, a center for the men's basketball team was selected to the Men's All-CIAA team frontcourt averaging a double-double in every game.

Guards Shaniya Jones and Aubriana Bonner were selected for the Women's All-CIAA backcourt. Jones had a career high of 32 points versus Winston-Salem State and was named Player of the Week.

Ciara Harris was named to Rookie Team and won Rookie of the Year.

Harris, was a top 11 scorer in the CIAA in her freshman campaign, leading all rookies at 12.2 points per game. The Alexandria, VA native ranked among league leaders in rebounding during the regular season at more than five per game and was named Rookie of the Week three times this season.
