JCSU Rookies Earn CIAA Weekly Awards

Ezekiel Cannedy averaged 22.5 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists while leading the Golden Bulls to victories over St. Augustine's and Livingstone last week. The freshman had a stat line of 22 points, 5 assists, 2 steals, and two boards in a 93-58 win over the Falcons and then dropped 23 points and eight rebounds versus Livingstone in a 70-64 game. Eight rebounds are a new career mark for the guard from Kings Mountain, NC while five assists tied a career high.

India Howard averaged 11 points and 6.5 rebounds while helping the Golden Bulls to wins over St. Augustine's and Livingstone last week. In the 60-41 win versus the Falcons, the freshman contributed 11 points, five boards, two steals, and two blocks while shooting a perfect five-for-five on field goals. Against the Blue Bears, the Coppell, TX native led JCSU with eight rebounds and three blocks while pouring in 11 points for a 54-50 win.
