CHARLOTTE – The Johnson C. Smith University men's basketball team returns to the court Thursday, Jan. 26 as they travel to Winston-Salem State University for a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division bout. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside the C.E. Gaines Center.

JCSU enters the contest at 6-11 overall and 2-6 (CIAA), 2-1 Southern Division play, most recently defeating the Blue Bears of Livingstone 70-64 at home.
Ezekiel Cannedy leads the Golden Bulls in scoring averaging 16.1 points per game and is fourth in the league in scoring.
Javon Floyd contributes 13.4 points per game and grabs 6.4 rebounds per game. Floyd ranks ninth in the league in scoring and in rebounds.
WSSU (10-7, 6-3 CIAA, 2-1 Southern Division) returns to the court after dropping a 56-55 decision at home against Fayetteville State. Leading the Rams on offense is Jaylon Gibson who averages 13.3.3 ppg followed by Jaylen Austin at 12.5 ppg.
