CHARLOTTE - Johnson C. Smith University men's basketball team suffered its second loss of the week by the hands Claflin University by a margin of 67-64 Saturday afternoon. With the loss, JCSU stands (6-13, 2-8 in CIAA) and Claflin is 15-4 overall and 7-4in the league.
Ezekiel Cannedy led the Golden Bulls in scoring with 20 points off of 7-for-17 shooting from the floor, including 5-for-1 from the three-point line and 1-for-2 from the foul line.

Javon Floyd each added 12 points on the night.
For the contest, JCSU came in averaging over 35 boards per outing; however, the Golden Bulls were out rebounded by the Lions 32-29. The Golden Bulls shot 46.1 percent (26-for-56) from the floor and 66.7 percent (4-for-6) from the charity stripe.
JCSU host the Panthers of Virginia Union University on Wednesday, Feb., at 7:30 p.m., inside historic Brayboy Gymnasium.
