Volleyball falls to Shaw, 3-0

Charlotte, NC | The Johnson C. Smith University women's volleyball team fell to the Bears of Shaw University in straight-set decision (25-18, 25-10, 25-21) on Wednesday night inside Brayboy Gym. 
Game Notes

» Camri Goodwin had a match-high five kills in the loss.
» JCSU led 10-4 until Shaw went on a 8-1 run to win the first set, 25-18.
» Eliana Moultrie and Yasmine Cannon each had three kills. 
» JCSU received a match-high 13 digs from Goodwin.
» JCSU attackers were helped by a match-high seven assists from Cannon.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Bears used an 8-1 run to break an 10-4 lead from the Golden Bulls and cruised from there. 

SET 2 | The visitors hopped out to an early 20-5 edge, in set two

SET 3 | The third set was tied at 13 all, until the Bears pulled out the final three point to claimed the victory.
