CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls women's basketball team defeated the Vikings of Elizabeth City State University 80-75, in overtime on Thursday night inside Brayboy Gymnasium.

Najah Lane led the Golden Bulls scoring with 25 points, shooting 8 for 11 from the field and went 8-10 from the charity stripe. Three other Golden Bulls scored in double figures.
Kelis Carmon scored 19,
Queen Ruffin chipped in 11 and
Ciara Harris ended the night with 10 points.
As a team, JCSUÂ shot 51.9 percent from the field, 51 percent from behind the arc, and 54.3 percent at the line.Â

Alanis Hill of ECSU led with 29 points. ECSUÂ shot 13 percent from the field, 13 percent from behind the arc, and 81 percent at the line.
