Box Score CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith University women's basketball team earned its seventh win on the season with a 63-60 victory over Saint Augustine's University, Monday afternoon.
The victory improves JCSU to 7-7 and 4-3 in the CIAA while Saint Augustine's drops to 9-6 on the year and 3-4 in league play.

Ciara Harris led the Golden Bulls with 19 points. Kelis Carmon had a double-double night with 19 points and 11 rebounds while teammate Ashlei Kirven led the night with 19 rebounds and 10 points.
 
JCSU connected on 35 percent (19-54) from the field with a 22.2 percent (4-18) from behind the arc. The Golden Bull also hit on 80.8 percent (21-26) of their free throws. 
 
JCSU will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 20 to take on Southern Division foe the Broncos of Fayetteville State. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
