Harris lead JCSU with 14 points in win over Livingstone

CHARLOTTE - The Golden Bulls forced 17 turnovers and limited Livingstone College to 31 percent shooting from the field and 16 percent on three pointers and rolled to a 54-50 win on Tuesday evening at New Trent Gym. 

JCSU and LC were evenly matched in all four quarters. The victory gives JCSU a 9-7 overall and a 6-3 CIAA. 

The Gold and Blue had two players in double figures: Ciara Harris with 14 points and Ashlei Kirven rounded out with 11. Howard led the team with 13 rebounds. 

Livingstone (4-9, 2-7 CIAA) got 11 points each from Jamiah Lane Samiyah Briggs. 
 
JCSU is on the road on Saturday against Claflin. Tip-off is at 2 p.m.
