CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith men's basketball team earned its first conference win over the Panthers of Va. Union University, 67-65 on Tuesday evening. Asa White led the Golden Bulls with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Javon Anderson chipped in 17 points on the night.  

Both Whtie and Anderson were perfect the free throw line. White shot five of five while Anderson went four for four. 

The Golden Bulls Shot 46 percent from the field and 47 percent from behind the arc.

Tahj Harding led the Panthers with 17 points.
