JCSU Track does well at Clemson and JDL Early Bird

CHARLOTTE – The Johnson C. Smith University men and women's indoor track and field teams did well at the Clemson Opener and the Winston-Salem College Kickoff on Saturday at the JDL complex.

On Friday at Clemson, Nijah Lewis opened her collegiate career with a 7.75 in the 60m. She followed that up on Sunday at JDL with a personal best of 7.65 in the finals of the 60m and a winning time of 25.65 in the collegiate 200m division.

Mohamed Adoini Mohamed ran huge PRs in the 60m hurdles, 400m, and 800m.

At Clemson Opener, he ran 8.12 seconds. He followed up with a 3rd place finish in 400m in a time of 48.47 seconds.

At JDL Early Bird Invitational, in his first ever 800m, he placed 2nd in a time of 2:00.96.
