Golden Bulls Falls 3-2 to Claflin

Box Score CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith University women's volleyball team fell in five sets to the Panthers of Claflin University, on Wednesday evening, 28-26, 25-23, 23-25, 17-25, and 15-12.
 
The loss dropped JCSU, 1-1 overall, 0-1 in the South and 0-1 in CIAA action while Claflin improves to 1-2 overall, 1-0 in the league and 1-0 in the South.
 
Eliana Moultrie finished with 21 kills on the night to lead the Gold and Blue offense. Defensively, JCSU had two players reach double figures in digs as Moultrie and Monique Reid each had 18 digs.

Yasmine Cannon and Ethaliah Edourd each shared the assist with 18.

Up next the Golden Bulls will host the Broncos of Fayetteville State on Wednesday, September 25.  First volley is set for 6:00 p.m.
