CHARLOTTE – Johnson C. University Volleyball team competed in a busy CIAA weekend, playing three matches over two days at Bowie State's A.C. Jordan Arena.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, they opened play against Virginia Union University falling 3–1 in a competitive match.

Returning to the court on Sunday, Oct. 19, the team bounced back with a strong performance, sweeping Lincoln University (Pa.) 3–0 in the morning session. Later that afternoon, they closed out the weekend facing Bowie State University, where they dropped a 3–0 decision.

Up Next, the Golden Bulls will host Sweet Briar College University, on Oct. 21. First volley is set for 6 p.m.
