The Johnson C. Smith Volleyball team went 1-2 over the weekend. On Friday, the Golden Bulls defeated Clark Atlanta University, 3-2.
JCSU was down two sets to none before rallying to win three straight sets. The Golden Bulls' front line was dominant throughout the match.
Kailyn Hitch led the way with 13 kills, while
Lapri Cromer and
Malayshia Bradley chipped in with 12 and 11 kills, respectively.
Yasmine Cannon controlled the offense recording a team-high 19 assists.
On Saturday, the Golden Bulls took on Salem College and Johnson and Wales in a double header and fell 3-0 in both matches.
