MEBANE, N.C. – The Johnson C. Smith University men's golf team will begin postseason play this week as the Golden Bulls tee off in the opening round of the 2026 CIAA Golf Championship at Mill Creek Golf Course in Mebane, North Carolina.

After two conference round ups, Bluefield State University enters the championship as the top seed with a combined score of 1791. Fayetteville State University (1828) and Winston-Salem State University (1833) follow closely, while Virginia State University (1858) and Livingstone College (1883) round out the top five. Virginia Union University (1892), Johnson C. Smith University (1959), and Bowie State University (2031) complete the championship field.
