Late come back spurs JCSU to win at Bluefield State, 63-58

Box Score BLUEFIELD, W. Va -  Mahaley Holit scored 10 points as the Johnson C. Smith University women's basketball team defeated the Bluefield State Blues 63-58 inside Schott Gym on Tuesday evening.

Ciara Harris added nine points to go along with three rebounds while Randi Neal led the Golden Bulls with six boards on the night.

JCSU (3-2) trailed by four (32-26) at the break.

For the contest, the Golden Bulls shot 37-percent from the floor (22-58), 35-percent from the three-point line (6-17) and nailed only 2 of 4 from the foul line for 50-percent.

The Golden Bulls will look to regroup when they travel to Belmont Abbey College for a nonconference tilt against Lander on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 6:00 p.m.
