Four Golden Bulls score in double figures, JCSU falls to Lander 99-79

Box Score CHARLOTTE - Four Golden Bulls scored in double figures, but it wasn't enough as the Johnson C. Smith University women's basketball team fell to Lander University 99-79, in the Belmont Abbey Classic, hosted by Belmont Abbey College.

Aubriana Bonner led JCSU with 15 points, while Zhane Snow and Ciara Harris each chipped in 13 points. Mahaley Holit rounded out the scoring with 12 points.

JCSU (3-3) trailed by 12 (55-43) at the break.

For the contest, the Golden Bulls shot 44-percent from the floor (29-65), 64-percent from the three-point line (9-14) and nailed only 12 of 19 from the foul line for 63-percent.
