Golden Bulls Hits Road To Raleigh

CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith University football team after being at home for three straight games will hit the road this weekend when the Golden Bulls travel to Raleigh N.C., to face Southern Division foe Saint Augustine's University on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the George Williams Athletic Complex for a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) contest. Kickoff is slated for 1:00 p.m.

Smith is riding on a two-game win streak defeating Shaw last weekend. JCSU stands 2-3 overall, 2-2 in the league.

SAU welcomes Smith for its Homecoming game this weekend. The Falcons fell to Southern Division leader Fayetteville State University last Saturday afternoon 54-0.

The Falcons are 0-6 overall, 0-4 in the conference.

After their clash with the Falcons, the Golden Bulls will have Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 22 when they host the Broncos of Fayetteville State.
