CHARLOTTE – The Johnson C. Smith University women's basketball will travel to Winston-Salem State University on Thursday, Jan. 26 for a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division bout. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. inside the C.E. Gaines Center.

The Golden Bulls are 7-10 overall, 3-5 in the CIAA and 2-1 in the Southern division after defeating Livingstone, 54-60 on Saturday.
WSSU stands 10-7 overall, 6-3 in the CIAA and 2-1 in the Southern Division. The Rams fell to the Broncos of Fayetteville State 65-61 over the weekend.
Shaniya Jones is the Golden Bulls leading scorer, averaging 18.6 points per game while WSSU is led by Amaya Tucker contributes 16.5 points, respectively. Both are one and two in the league in scoring.
