WBB Falls to Catawba 63-53

Box Score CHARLOTTE – Betsey Burnett scored 17 and Rylee Ghent scored 12 points but the Golden Bulls women's basketball team fell to Catawba College 63-53 in a non-conference contest Wednesday night.
 
Desiree Smith added 12 points while Ghent grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.

The Golden Bulls (1-1) only scored six points in the second quarter but made up for it in the third quarter by scoring 19. The Indians (1-0) outscored JCSU in all three quarters. 

Up next, the Golden Bulls will travel to Petersburg, Va. To participate in the CIAA Cross Divisional Challenge host by Virginia State University Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 16-7 inside VSU Multi-Purpose Complex.
