Golden Bulls volleyball wins in five sets over Clinton

Box Score CHARLOTTE - In an intense volleyball match, inside of Brayboy Gym on Monday evening, the Bears of Clinton College faced off against the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University. Clinton started strong, winning the first two sets 25-20 and 25-23.
However, the Golden Bulls made a remarkable comeback, taking the next two sets 25-17 and 25-15.

The final set was a nail-biter, with Golden Bulls clinching the victory 15-13, securing the match 3-2 overall. 

Essence Rain-Peterson had a solid performance with 11 kills, two errors, and a hitting percentage of .375. She also contributed four assists, four aces, and five digs, totaling 15 points. 

Eliana Moultrie ended the night on 16 kills, two errors. She also added four assists, four aces, and four digs. 

Yasmin Cannon had seven kills. She also provided 14 assists, four aces, and five digs, totaling 11 points.
